Japanese Ministry of Self-Defense Creates Spherical Flying Robot

The Japanese Ministry of Self-Defense created this spherical soccer-ball sized robot. The spherical flying robot can travel as fast as 40 mph. It can also move slowly and hover next to a person. It can land by coming to a rolling stop on the ground. There are eight wings inside the robot ball and a single propeller. The defensive spherical robot is not armed with weapons, but it can carry cameras and sensors for security purposes. Take a look:
